What are the top 5 books you would grab in an emergency?
1) The Harry Potter series (I couldn't just choose one or two books out of the series! And I also think of them as one book, so it works)
2) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
3) Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
4) Bossypants by Tina Fey
5) The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand (this one just popped in my head out of nowhere!)

Definitely chick lit. I know that there is nothing but air inside those books, but sometimes, that what a girl needs! They are nice and light and easy to get through when I need a little reading pick-me-up!

Love your choices... I picked Harry Potter too, but I had the most difficult time picking which two to leave behind! I should have picked it as a whole. Good call! To Kill a Mockingbird is also such a classic, it must be saved!

Nope, can't get into chick lit. I don't mind other people reading them, you read what you like, but I need some fantasy. You could have a chick lit story then plop it into a fantasy world and I'd be happy. But until then I need my magic! :)
